Terms of ServiceAll final requests must be submitted to [email protected] to be considered.The Artist reserves the right to decline any commission request for any reason. I am not required to disclose this reason to the client.The Client must provide reference images for original characters. This could include: other commissioned art, face likenesses, inspiration images, mood boards, miniature creator screenshots, etc. If the commission is in color the client must also provide a preferred color palette.- In the event reference images cannot be provided, the Client must give a detailed description of the character(s), with the understanding that additional charges will be accrued for the necessary research, design, and additional communication with the Client, and that the finished product will be more subject to the Artist’s interpretation.- References of art that is not owned by the Client will not be considered valid references.Displayed prices are to be considered base prices, and will increase based on the desires of the Client and the complexity of the request, as determined by the Artist.Once the Client accepts the quoted commission, the Client will be invoiced and full payment must be made up-front via Square and must clear before work on the commission begins.
- Disclaimer: Any personal information collected from the Client by Square during the invoicing process is considered private information and will not be used, saved, or otherwise regarded by the Artist. All commissions are sent via digital file and no shipping is required or offered.
- Commissions will be completed in the order in which payment is received.The Client will be able to provide feedback and suggestions to the commission during the sketch stage of the process. They also have the right to request updates regarding the status of the commission as needed.
- Excessive revisions, particularly any major revisions that are needed after lineart or color is done, will incur additional fees.The Client is eligible for a refund depending on the stage of completion when the refund is requested:
- 75% of the total commission price at the sketch stage
- 50% of the total commission price at the lineart stage
- 25% of the total commission price at the flat color stage
- 0% of the total commission price upon completion
- For example, if you have a $100 commission refunds would amount to $75, $50, $25, and $0, respectively.The Artist retains all rights to the art itself, but not the characters depicted therein.
- Reposting of the commission must be done with proper credit to myself, via my social media handle awolsenshi, or with links to my pages (twitter, carrd, bluesky, tumblr).
- A low-resolution, watermarked jpg will be provided for the purposes of online sharing.All works will be posted to social media/online for the purposes of self-promotion and portfolio building. If the Client does not wish their commission to be posted to social media, or if they would like the posting to be delayed, that is to be communicated in advance of the completion of the commission. Otherwise I am not accountable.Commissions are not to be used for commercial purposes unless negotiated via contract beforehand between myself and the Client. If it is discovered that the work is being sold in any form without such a contract being in place then I reserve the right to take action for loss of income.- Under no condition is any of my art–either personal, private commission, or commercial–to be used for NFT, blockchain, cryptocurrency, or AI under ANY circumstances. Any such requests will be immediately rejected, and theft will be met with legal action.By sending payment for the commission the Client agrees to and accepts the above terms in their entirety.
